This consultation includes a guide on what to expect in the first 2 weeks after birth, how you can prepare and advocate for a successful breastfeeding journey.
This is also an opportunity for us to discuss your obstetric or lactation history, identify possible impacting factors and answer any questions you may have.

Antenatal clinic consultation
A 60min consultation with you and your support person in the privacy of our cozy and comfortable clinic rooms in Bella Vista.
This consultation includes a comprehensive guide to the first 2 weeks after birth including what to expect, how you can best prepare and advocate for a successful breastfeeding journey.
Face-to-face appointments facilitate the ability to demonstrate and practice practical skills such as breastfeeding attachment and how to hand express colostrum. I will also provide you with a hand expressing kit (sterile syringes, caps and storage magnet) worth $35, at no additional cost.
